Built in 1666 by the Ottoman Grand Vizier Kara Mustafa Paşa of Merzifon, this rectangular mosque of finely cut stone is the largest in the district. The fountain in its courtyard was decorated in 1875 by Zileli Emin with reliefs depicting scenes from Istanbul, Amasya and Vienna.
