Kuşkayası is a Roman road monument built between 41 and 54 CE by Gaius Julius Aquila in the name of Emperor Claudius. It consists of a headless human figure carved into the rock, a relief of a Roman eagle and two inscriptions, and is thought to have served as a resting and water point for Roman soldiers.
