Designated a nature park in 2014, Yakupabdal covers 208 hectares at an elevation of 1,850 m, mostly covered with Calabrian pine forest and scrub. Walking and birdwatching are possible around its artificial lake, and 357 plant species from 54 families have been recorded in the park.
