The Akhan Caravanserai, on the Denizli-Afyonkarahisar road, was built in 1253-1254 by the governor Seyfettin Karasungur. It is one of the last great Seljuk caravanserais in the west, known for the two inscriptions on its portal and the geometric ornament in its courtyard.
