Nurdağı is a district in the west of Gaziantep, north of İslahiye, on the border with Kahramanmaraş and Osmaniye. Its economy rests on farming, chiefly cotton, wheat and red peppers. The district was badly damaged in the earthquake of 6 February 2023, and the settlement is being rebuilt on a new site.
