Senirkent is a district of Isparta near Lake Eğirdir, at the foot of Kocadağ (Kapıdağı), at 965 m elevation. Settlement here goes back to 3000-1200 BCE; the area came under Turkish rule after the 1176 Battle of Myriokephalon. Its local dessert, Senirkent Banağı, received geographical indication status in 2021.
