Ephesus was one of the largest cities of the ancient world. The marble-paved Curetes Street, the famous facade of the Library of Celsus, the Great Theatre that held tens of thousands and the Terrace Houses still show its grandeur. It was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2015.
