Sarıveliler

Sarıveliler lies on the Taşeli Plateau in Karaman, at an elevation of 1,555 m; 30% of its land is steep slopes. Konya's Taşkent district lies to its north, Antalya's Gazipaşa to its south, Antalya's Alanya to its west and Ermenek to its east. It became a municipality in 1967 and a district in 1991; apples, walnuts and, increasingly, cherries are grown around the villages of Uğurlu and Esentepe.
