Lüleburgaz is known for the large waystation complex that Sokollu Mehmed Paşa had Mimar Sinan build in 1569-70. Made up of a mosque, a madrasa, a caravanserai, a bathhouse and an arcade of fifty-nine shops, the complex is one of Sinan's important works.
