Set on a 200,000-square-metre site, the Darıca Faruk Yalçın Zoo and Botanical Garden is Turkey's zoo with the greatest variety of species, home to close to 2,000 animals from nearly 200 species. The same grounds display over 250 plant species, making it one of Turkey's notable botanical parks as well.
