Opened in 1937 in the medrese section of the Muradiye Complex, the Manisa Museum has been housed since 2025 in a new building in Yunusemre district. Its collection includes finds from the excavations carried on since 1958 at the Sardis archaeological site, as well as sarcophagi, gravestones, mosaics, statues and coins spanning the Bronze Age to the late Byzantine and Ottoman periods. Its ethnography section displays clothing, tilework and manuscripts from the beylik and Ottoman periods.
