Ölüdeniz, literally 'Dead Sea', is named after its sheltered lagoon, which barely sees a wave. The lagoon side is protected as a nature park, and its shallow, calm water makes it easy for families with children. The long Belcekız beach right next to it is open to everyone. Babadağ, rising above the beach, is where paragliders take off.
