Bolvadin is an Afyonkarahisar district at the foot of the Sultan Mountains, on the shore of Lake Eber. The stone Kırkgöz Bridge over the Akarçay river was at one point repaired by the Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan; the Heybeli hot springs, used since Byzantine times, and the reedy shores of Lake Eber are among its other sights. Bolvadin is also known for its clotted cream made from buffalo milk.
