Pazaryeri, east of Bilecik, is a district about 87% covered by forest. Known as the 'land of ponds' for the reservoirs on the Sorgun and Karasu streams, it is Türkiye's most intensive hops-growing centre, and the village of Kınık is known for its pottery.
