Pertek

Pertek, in southern Tunceli, is separated from Elazığ by the Keban Dam reservoir. Pertek Castle, rising on a hill above the lake, dates from the Urartian period, and the 16th-century Çelebi Ali Mosque can also be seen in the district. Ferries cross the reservoir.
